Manufacturing and NPI Engineer
Airport City, Israel

Duties and Responsibilities:

Sustain Engineering – technical ownership for all Utron released products (Fabrication, assembly installation, service, and adaptation to new customers)
Responsible for multi-disciplinary new products introduction.
Apply DFx practices to improved manufacturability, assembly process, cost, etc…
Manage and control Turnkey activities at suppliers (local and overseas) for system fabrication, assembly and integration. Support all tech aspects, quality and FAI (mechanical/ electro-mechanical).
Responsible for releasing Product documentations, BOM, jigs and design changes (ECOs)
Lead 2nd source & cost reduction activities

Essential Education, Skills and Experience:

BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering – Must
Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer of multi-disciplinary products with hands on approach
An in-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, fabrication technologies and tool design
Problem-solving experience of multi-disciplinary products
Familiarity with quality control techniques and practices
Proficiency in CAD/Solid Works – Must
Experience with ERP systems – Priority is an advantage
Advanced level in English – speaking and writing.
Travel: up to 20% yearly
