Senior Automation Engineer

The XM Cyber platform enables companies to rapidly prioritize and respond to cyber risks affecting their business-sensitive systems.

We are looking to hire a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team at this exciting stage of our companys growth.

What You’ll Do

Architect & Build: Lead the design of automation frameworks focusing on Component Testing and E2E flows.
Cloud Integration: Orchestrate automated test environments that deploy our services onto AWS using Docker (and ideally K8s).
Pipeline Ownership: Fully integrate test suites into our GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
Strategy & Mentorship: Create comprehensive test plans and mentor junior/mid-level team members on automation best practices.
API Excellence: Maintain and expand our Rest Assured API automation suite.

Requirements:

Experience: 4+ years in Software Testing, with at least 3 years specifically as an Automation Engineer.
Coding Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python (Must). Experience in Java is a significant advantage.
Tooling: Proven experience with modern frameworks like Playwright (preferred) or Cypress/Selenium.
API Testing: Deep expertise in Rest Assured for API-level validation.
Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with Docker and AWS environments. Knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s) is a major plus.
CI/CD: Practical experience working with GitHub Actions.
Soft Skills: A self-motivated, "extreme ownership" mindset. You are someone who identifies a bottleneck and fixes it without being asked.

Nice to Have

Direct experience testing Cyber Security products.

Strong background in QA methodologies and test planning for complex SaaS architectures.
Experience setting up performance or security-specific automated checks.
