Job Summary

As a Project Manager, you will collaborate closely, as needed, with the relevant teams to agree on specific activities and/or deliverables required in each of the accounts you manage. The ultimate goal is to accelerate the usage growth of AWS Cloud while also creating a robust customer experience across the entire cloud adoption lifecycle.

The Project Manager will oversee cloud consumption, advocating for efficient cloud use throughout the application lifecycle. The candidate will engage with all the customer’s stakeholder teams, encouraging optimal technology usage, reserved instances, and savings plans. The role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure the proper Planning configuration of cost management tools, staying informed about industry trends, and delivering clear and understandable mapping to our customers.

Responsibilities:

Serve as a subject-matter expert for professional services clients and stack holders.
Collaborate with technology teams to incorporate cost management best practices into cloud platforms
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with technology teams to optimize cloud spend.
Create a cloud mapping dashboard to optimize cloud costs
Build a mapping report providing secure self-service capabilities to all customer stakeholders on cloud spend.
Lead regular cadence with Finance, Senior leaders, C-Levels, and technical peers, providing expert advice on cloud financial management activities.
Create operational metrics to demonstrate costs and usage, assisting with tracking for critical stakeholders.
Participate in integrated and new systems planning, providing cost forecasts for implementation details for cloud governance processes.
Refine customer segmentation, assist with territory management, and create a plan to enhance renewal and upsell processes
Ensure rigor in opportunity management through the adoption of sales processes and in-depth deal reviews.

Requirements:

Requirements

1 year of experience in an operations, data, or project management role within a fast-paced environment.
Experience with automation on customer-facing tools and CRMs like
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with AWS cloud environments and cloud tools
Proven experience working in a high-tech company or similar fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, etc.
Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project/Smartsheet, JIRA, Salesforce, etc).
