Backend Engineer

We're looking for a backend engineer to help build and scale the systems that power our company's Home products. You'll be part of a self-sufficient squad within our Engineering team in TLV, working closely with Product, QA, Data, and Machine Learning to ship features that make a real difference for homeowners.
We believe three things matter for every role at our company: drive to push through challenges, efficiency that keeps standards high while moving fast, and adaptability that lets you pivot with data and AI insights. These aren't buzzwords, they're how we actually work.
Our AI-first approach isn't just a tagline either. We're building the future of insurance with AI at the center, and we need people who are genuinely excited to learn and grow alongside these tools.
In this role you'll
Build and maintain Home product features using microservices written in TypeScript (NestJS)
Leverage our in-house autonomous tools to manage the full development flow - from setting up your environment to deploying services to production
Collaborate closely with Product, QA, Analytics, Data, and ML teams within a self-sufficient squad to hit the squad's OKRs
Take ownership of your domain - writing clean, scalable, production-grade code that holds up at scale
Contribute to engineering best practices and help raise the bar across the team.
