Datastream and Database Migration Services (DMS) are serverless Cloud services that make data easily accessible for replication and migration. The Data Movement Platform acts as the foundation for these services, providing a fast and secure way to move data from various sources to destinations using scalable message queues and connectors.
As part of the Sources group within the Data Movement Platform, you will develop and enhance the infrastructure used to stream data. You will take ownership of the design, implementation, and post-production care of new infrastructure services and features.
Responsibilities
Write and test product or system development code in Go, Java or Python.
Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
