MDA Space is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition Team for a 6 month contract based at our Rehovot office.

Our Sat Connect IC business unit, a division of our Satellite Systems business is a leading provider of ASICs, software, multibeam electronically steered antennas, and complete systems for communication satellites, as well as ground and airborne terminals. Located in Israel, the UK, and the US, we are a technology leader in satellite communication.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for attracting, assessing and hiring the right candidates in a timely fashion. Specifically:
Identify hiring needs and search requirements and effectively match candidates with the roles in which they will be most successful
Participate in the creation and implementation of staffing strategies to provide a qualified and diverse candidate pool
Build relationships with talent in the marketplace. Source passive candidates through networking and direct sourcing
Evaluate skill level, conduct efficient and professional interview process and drive offer process, including reference checks, salary recommendations, negotiations and closing of candidates
Communicate effectively with the hiring manager and interview team to ensure preparedness during the interview process. Share and exchange information with all levels of management.
Provide a great candidate experience. Promote MDA Space employer brand. Propose and implement ongoing improvements to recruitment efforts.
Participate in strategic Human Resources activities as directed

Requirements (experience/skills):

Related post-secondary education and 8+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in a high-tech environment
Strong preference for experience recruiting for chipsets or in the Space industry
Strong written and verbal skills in English
Technical recruiting experience in the computer and engineering related field and experience networking in the technology industry
Communicative team player with outstanding interpersonal skills
Experience partnering with managers, interviewers and hiring teams through the hiring process
Knowledge and experience in a wide range of current recruiting practices and techniques
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and provide strong consultative skills throughout the search process
Self-directed, persistent and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency
Attention to detail and follow through is important
Proactive, results-oriented, good business sense and strong organizational skills
This role is based in our Rehovot location.
