GIS OPERATOR

Requirements:
Mandatory Criteria Candidates must meet one of the following education and experience tracks:
* Academic degree, Practical Engineer diploma, or Certified Technician diploma, with an emphasis on Information Systems, Technology, or Geography, together with at least two years of relevant experience. OR
* Completion of relevant professional courses totaling at least 300 academic hours, together with at least three years of relevant experience. OR
* At least four years of experience as a GIS implementation or support specialist. In addition, candidates must have:
* At least two years of experience operating information systems, including at least one year of experience working with geographic information systems.
* Knowledge and experience in generating reports and analyzing data from computerized systems.
* Knowledge and experience in data cleansing and data quality improvement.
* Experience troubleshooting system issues and working with internal managers and external software vendors. Advantages
* More than six months of hands-on experience working with GIS.
* Experience working in similar organizations, preferably large, public-sector, infrastructure, transportation, or regulated environments. Required Skills
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.
