Senior Platform Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented Senior Platform Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure and platforms that power Zenity’s products and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering and Security, to ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Own and evolve our critical architecture infrastructure
Ensure scalability and cost effectiveness for our architecture
Champion best practices for infrastructure management, automation and deployment
Drive high-quality engineering and engineering velocity
Think creatively about complex problems and deliver technological Innovation
Collaborate with others via open discussions, Design Reviews and Code Reviews, to develop robust micro-services and internal infrastructure code

Requirements:

Passionate team player with minimum 5 years of experience
Expertise with modern programming languages such as Python/C#/Java/Scala/Kotlin/TypeScript/JavaScript
Expertise with infrastructure code, SOLID principles, and infrastructure-as-code tools
Proficiency working on large-scale services based on AWS/Azure/GCP
Proficiency with DevOps and monitoring of cloud based services
Experience writing code in Agile, CI/CD-based environments
Experience working in a high-growth startup environment
Experience working on Big data technologies such as Kafka/Spark/OpenSearch
Advantage: Experience working with Big data formats such as Parquet/Avro/Delta Lake/Iceberg
