Linux Systems Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Linux Systems Administrator to join the team responsible for managing and maintaining our high-performance, multi-user Linux server environment and CI/CD pipelines. This hands-on role is critical to the daily operations of our research and engineering groups. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Linux system administration, proficiency in Python for updating and maintaining custom tooling, and the technical capability to provide high-tier support to our engineering users. As a proactive, self-learner individual, you take initiative, work independently, and actively identify opportunities for operational improvement and bring new ideas to the table.
Responsibilities:
Core Infrastructure: Manage and scale our large-scale AWS-hosted Linux server environment, ensuring high availability and performance.
Tooling & Automation: Architect and maintain custom Python-based solutions for automation, internal dashboards, and self-hosted services.
Engineering Enablement: Provide high-level support for our internal users, resolving complex environment and connectivity challenges to keep the team unblocked.
Pipeline Reliability: Own the health and optimization of our CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions).
Security & Governance: Proactively manage system hardening, backups, and routine security audits.
