Join our high-impact engineering team responsible for our critical ordering system, a strategic and high-visibility platform. We're looking for a passionate Senior backend Engineer to step into a pivotal role, ensuring the continued smooth functioning and strategic advancement of this core system.

What am I going to do?:
* Lead significant development projects end-to-end, driving them from conception to on-time delivery within a collaborative small team.
* Act as a key technical resource, providing insightful code reviews and mentorship to fellow developers.
* Collaborate closely with the Director of Engineering and team members on operational processes, daily syncs, and strategic decision-making for the 'feeds' system.
* Serve as a full stakeholder for the team's deliverables, contributing to complex problem-solving and positively impacting team workflows.
* Contribute to improving team quality and engineering practices through active participation in code and design reviews.
* Seamlessly integrate into the team, actively participating in all daily operations and decision-making processes.

Requirements:
* You are a true Technical Solver at heart, energized by diagnosing complex issues, preventing system failures, and ensuring the robust performance of mission-critical systems.
* Possess strong Full-Stack development capabilities across Kotlin, Node.js, JavaScript, and Ruby.
* Demonstrate a track record of leading projects from initiation to successful completion, ensuring high technical standards and timely delivery.
* Bring a proactive approach to code review and technical guidance, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
* Excel in cross-functional communication and collaboration, effectively partnering with stakeholders and team members to achieve shared goals.

* Experience with infrastructure or backend systems critical to e-commerce or marketplace platforms.
* Familiarity with performance optimization and scalability challenges in high-traffic systems.
* Previous experience in a role requiring active participation in on-call rotations or production support. Working with AI In this role, you'll leverage AI tools to enhance your development workflow and efficiency, potentially including AI-powered coding assistants for faster development and code suggestions, and automated testing frameworks. While AI will augment your capabilities, your expertise in diagnosing complex issues, strategic decision-making, and providing human-centric technical guidance remains central to the role's success.
