This is a hands-on role with real ownership throughout the entire product lifecycle - from concept and detailed design to prototyping, production, and field deployment.
Responsibilities:
Lead mechanical development activities throughout the full product lifecycle
Design and develop military-grade products, from concept through production
Create detailed mechanical designs, drawings, and prototypes
Support manufacturing, integration, testing, and product validation
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including Electronics, Software, AI, Manufacturing, and Operations
Manage technical interactions with suppliers and support component sourcing and manufacturing processes

5+ years of experience in product packaging design - Mandatory
Proven experience integrating PCBs, wiring, harnesses, and connectors into mechanical designs
Experience working in multidisciplinary R D environments
Familiarity with PLM/PDM systems and product lifecycle management
Experience performing thermal analysis
Strong knowledge of GD T and mechanical design for CNC machining, sheet metal, and plastic injection molding
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Strong ownership, accountability, and execution capabilities
Independent, pragmatic, and hands-on engineer
Requirements:
