Join the REWIRE Center for Neuromodulation and Neurorestoration as a hands-on professional supporting cutting-edge neurorecovery studies, such as advanced spinal stimulation techniques. Work directly with individuals with spinal cord injuries and other neurological conditions to enhance their recovery and mobility. This multidisciplinary role involves close collaboration with research scientists, engineers, and clinicians.
- Therapeutic Support: Assist Physical Therapists during locomotor training sessions, including providing hands-on support for standing, stepping, and guided lower limb movements, ensuring proper positioning and mobility activities.
- Participant Coordination: Take charge of recruiting, scheduling, screening, and tracking study participants; serve as their primary point of contact and advocate throughout the study duration.
- Therapeutic Support: Assist Physical Therapists during locomotor training sessions, including providing hands-on support for standing, stepping, and guided lower limb movements, ensuring proper positioning and mobility activities.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Device Engineering Degree and Medical Technologist Certificate/ Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology or a related field.
- Senior-level students may apply for internships with the option to transition into a full-time role after graduation.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with participants and team members.
- Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas will be given preference:
Working in a clinical or therapeutic setting with hands-on patient care Execution of structured research protocols. Experience working with individuals with spinal cord injuries or other neurological conditions.
