Junior/Mid Automation Developer

Role Overview

As an Automation Developer at Splitit, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, focusing on the creation and execution of automated testing solutions. This role is designed for a developer with 1-2 years of experience who is passionate about code quality, automation frameworks, and the FinTech ecosystem. You will help us ensure that our "Installments-as-a-Service" platform remains seamless, secure, and reliable for millions of users worldwide.

What You’ll Do

Framework Development: Develop and maintain automated test scripts for Sanity, E2E, and Regression testing suites using C#.
Execution & Analysis: Run automated tests and perform deep-dive analysis of results to identify, document, and track software defects.
CI/CD Integration: Work with the DevOps and R&D teams to integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Jenkins).
Collaboration: Partner with manual QA and Backend developers to translate functional requirements into robust automated test cases.
Continuous Improvement: Research and suggest new tools or methodologies to improve our automation coverage and execution speed.

Who You Are

Experience: 1-2 years of professional experience in Automation Development or Software Development.
Technical Skills: Solid foundation in C# and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
Education: B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to "break" things and find the root cause of complex issues.
Team Player: Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively in a global, fast-paced environment.

Advantages (nice to have)

Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
Knowledge of SQL and working with databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB).
Familiarity with Docker or cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
Background or interest in the FinTech industry.
