Hands-on navigation engineering for the interceptor system. You'll develop, implement, and validate navigation and estimation algorithms, working with real sensor data and taking algorithms from concept through Real-Time implementation. Reports to the GNC Lead, with deep ownership over the modules you build. This role is a fit for engineers with strong navigation, sensor-fusion, and state-estimation foundations, and the appetite to apply those skills to broader engineering problems beyond pure navigation.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement navigation algorithms for Real-Time systems.
* Work with sensors such as IMU, GNSS, radar, and other relevant sensors.
* Design estimation and sensor-fusion solutions.
* Analyse simulation and field data to improve algorithm performance.
* Support the full algorithm lifecycle, from requirements and simulation through implementation and testing.
* Apply estimation and data -fusion skills to domains beyond navigation when needed.
* Collaborate with software, Embedded, systems, and hardware teams.

* B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Robotics, or a related field.
* Solid background in state estimation, filtering, optimization, and probabilistic modelling.
* Experience with inertial navigation, GNSS-based navigation, or multi-sensor fusion.
* Proficiency in MATLAB or similar tools.
* Experience implementing algorithms in simulation and Real-Time environments.
* Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
* Eligible for security clearance. Preferred Qualifications
* Ph.D. or advanced degree in a relevant field.
* Experience with autonomous systems, robotics, UAVs, or defense systems.
* Experience with Embedded implementation, Real-Time software, or hardware-in-the-loop testing.
* Knowledge of navigation performance metrics and sensor error modelling.
