A full-time research position for a biogeochemist is now open at the Kinneret Limnological
Job Description: We seek a highly motivated independent researcher in the fields of
biogeochemistry. The successful candidate is expected to conduct research in the field and
the laboratory, using modern techniques and approaches.
The successful candidate is also expected to assume responsibility for components of the
Lake Kinneret monitoring program and develop new monitoring focuses. The candidate is
expected to cooperate with ongoing research projects at the company, to actively seek
research grants from national and international funding agencies to help support his/her
research and publish in high impact peer-reviewed journals.
Requirements: The applicant should hold a Ph.D. degree in natural sciences, and at least
one year of post-doctoral position in the field of geochemistry with research experience in
the relevant field and a strong publication record.
Two steps in the position: Step A) During 2026 the successful candidate will start a postdoctoral position framework at our company, including several months of research and training
in a leading limnological institute abroad. Following, Step B) At the beginning of 2027 the
successful candidate will start a full-time research position at our company.

The candidate must currently be eligible to work in Israel.
