Tzafon is a research firm building scalable compute systems and advancing machine intelligence, with offices in San Francisco & Tel Aviv. We recently raised $9.7m in pre-seed funding to advance our mission of expanding the frontiers of machine intelligence.

We’re a team of engineers and scientists with deep backgrounds in ML infrastructure & research. Founded by IOI and IMO medalists, PhDs, and alumni from leading tech companies, we train models and build infrastructure for swarms of agents to automate work across real-world environments.

As UI/Product Designer, we’re looking for someone who can translate our groundbreaking and novel technology into interfaces that feel intuitive and friendly to use. Working from our San Francisco office (we’re also open to consider exceptional remote candidates), you'll own our visual identity across both product and brand—from designing the interfaces where users interact with our agents, to creating motion graphics that bring our vision to life on social media.

What you'll do

Own the visual language for our platform across web, mobile, and native applications

Design live monitoring interfaces that show agents at work without overwhelming users

Create interaction patterns for human-in-the-loop workflows when users need to guide agents

Build visualization systems that make multi-agent orchestration comprehensible

Work directly with our executive team to maintain brand simplicity while solving new interaction problems

Design and produce visual content for social media that showcases our technology and culture

Collaborate with design partners and create motion graphics that communicate our vision

We’re looking for

5+ years of experience in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar UX design tool

Experience with motion graphics and After Effects (helpful but not required)

Genuine excitement about designing beautiful, thoughtful interfaces for machine intelligence

Taste and conviction over process

Preferred Experience

Experience designing for Mac native applications

Background in creating design systems that scale from marketing to complex products

Understanding of how to visualize real-time processes and live data

Experience working directly with technical teams

Strong educational foundation in design, whether from formal education (RISD, Parsons, Art Center) or self-directed learning with exceptional portfolio

Compensation starts at $150k-$250k + equity package, depending on experience & location.

We also offer a referral bonus of $20k for referral of successful hires (send to careers@tzafon.ai).
