The Role
The Principal Engineer is our highest individual contributor role. You will shape the long-term technical direction of the Casino Platform, driving architectural strategy across multiple teams while remaining deeply hands-on. You will be a trusted advisor to engineering leadership and a force multiplier for the entire organisation.

Requirements:
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong backend and distributed systems foundation
- Recognised expertise in JAVA and Spring Boot at scale
- Deep, production-proven mastery of Oracle DB, MongoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch
- Extensive experience architecting distributed, event-driven, high-throughput systems
- Demonstrated track record of defining and delivering platform-level technical strategy
- Experience operating and scaling systems on private cloud or on-premise infrastructure
- Exceptional written and verbal communication - able to influence at all levels of the organisation
- Strong understanding of security, compliance, and data governance in regulated environments.
