Manufacturing Engineering & Planning Manager

SuperCom, a global leader in advanced tracking, identification, and security solutions, is seeking an experienced and hands-on Manufacturing Engineering & Planning Manager to join our team.This role is responsible for leading manufacturing engineering and production planning activities, ensuring production continuity, accurate planning, and efficient execution, while supporting the transition of products from development to manufacturing and strengthening engineering processes across the organization.Key Responsibilities:Manufacturing EngineeringEstablish and maintain accurate product structures (BOMs) and configuration managementProvide engineering support and mechanical approvals for components and productsManage product updates, engineering changes (ECOs), and device configurationsLead transfer from R&D to production (NPI)Monitor component lifecycle and lead obsolescence and replacement processesDefine testing procedures and quality inspection criteria for productionEnsure compliance with relevant standards, certifications, and regulatory requirementsPerform and document lab testing required for product validation and recertificationSupport continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and engineering methodologiesParticipate in root cause analysis for production failures, RMAs, and supplier-related issuesProduction Planning & Resource ManagementBuild and manage production plans (daily, weekly, monthly) based on forecasts, customer orders, and inventoryCoordinate cross-functional activities with Procurement, Manufacturing, Warehouse, and SalesMonitor raw material consumption, finished goods inventory, and report deviationsSupport production scheduling and ensure material readiness and production continuityTrack and monitor production performance and adherence to plansSupport capacity planning and resource alignment according to production needs (labor, materials, machines)Ensure accuracy and consistency of planning and production data in the Priority ERP systemRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering and production planningExperience working with production processes and manufacturing environmentsHands-on experience with Priority ERP system - MustAdvanced proficiency in ExcelAbility to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawingsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and strong system-level thinkingStrong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment under pressureExcellent English- written and spokenExperience in electronics manufacturing and assembly operations - Advantag
