The Tactical Purchasing Team Leader will oversee the procurement of goods and services essential for the company's operations. This role requires an analytical thinker with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The successful candidate will have a proven record in purchasing, strong analytical skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for leading the direct purchasing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet the company's operational and manufacturing needs.

Lead and manage the purchasing team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.

Source and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure the best quality and value.

Manage supplier relationships and resolve any issues that may arise.

Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing requirements and provide solutions.

Manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of materials while minimizing costs.

Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain.

Continuously evaluate and improve purchasing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: A relevant degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.

Experience: A minimum of five years of experience in purchasing or procurement, with a proven record of leadership and project management.

Industry Requirements: Experience in the medical device industry and collaborating with global companies is an advantage.

Language Skills: High level of English proficiency.

Strategic orientation and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office.

Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management,

Experience with SAP MRP is an advantage.

Strong leadership and management skills.

Personal Attributes:
