Software Engineer III, Gemini in Security Operations, Cloud

In this role, you will be shaping the future of security automation, working with product experts and exploring the latest Artificial Intelligence (AI) advancements.
The company Cloud AI Research team addresses AI challenges motivated by our company Clouds mission of bringing AI to tech, healthcare, finance, retail and many other industries. We work on a range of unique problems focused on research topics that maximize scientific and real-world impact, aiming to push the state-of-the-art in AI and share findings with the broader research community. We also collaborate with product teams to bring innovations to real-world impact that benefits our customers.
Responsibilities
Design and implement Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools for Security Operations (SecOps) to support different AI Security Agents.
Integrate AI models over Vertex AI and work with the product team to understand the requirements for the integration, developing the integration code, and testing the integration.
Develop backend in ASP.Net Core or Python. Design and develop the backend services that will be used to power the AI models.
Design and develop core components of the AI Chat infrastructure using Go. Build scalable and reliable services for managing real-time communication, managing user sessions, and integrating with AI models.
Research and identify new AI technologies and techniques that can be applied to improve the Secops Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platform.
