Billing and Collection Specialist (60% Part-Time Position)

We are looking for a talented Billing and Collection Specialist for our growing Finance team, who would take an active part in working with our customers and internal teams. Position type: 60% part-time (5 days per week), hybrid model. Responsibilities
* Prepare and review financial transactions in accordance with internal finance guidelines and approval procedures.
* Handle daily invoicing activities, including validation, issuance, and follow-up on outstanding payments.
* Take full ownership of customer billing inquiries from initial contact through final resolution, ensuring accurate documentation and timely communication.
* Maintain professional and empathetic communication with customers while understanding their business priorities.
* Examine sales agreements, purchase orders, and related documentation to confirm billing accuracy and compliance.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Finance, and Customer Support to address and resolve billing discrepancies.
* Manage internal update requests including customer address modifications, billing profile adjustments, pricing updates, service cancellations or reactivations, and recurring charge setups.
* Conduct collection efforts, support special billing arrangements, reconcile account discrepancies, and provide required financial documentation to customers when needed.
