We are seeking an experienced R&D Group Lead to join our expanding R&D team.
We are looking for either an already R&D Group Leader or a current Team Leader seeking to grow with the right potential.
You will be a key leader, managing a group of talented backend and full-stack engineers responsible for developing and maintaining our Core functionality and several critical product lines. This is a hands-on technical management role where you will:
Drive significant features from concept to deployment across the entire stack - including the database, backend services, and modern frontend.
Design, build, mentor, and maintain high-scale, production-ready systems for CHEQs innovative products.
Contribute to core architectural decisions.
Mentor senior and mid-level engineers.

Requirements:
BA or BsC in computer science or equivalent.
5+ years in software developments as a software developer. (.NET/Java/NodeJS)
Experience in leading teams - as a manager combining hands on work.
Manages at least 6 employees (Developers and QA) or Led significant projects as the leader of those projects.
Managed a team leader as well within this group - Advantage.
Working in a cloud environment - a must.
Experience work with REST APIs and APIs in general.
Experience in AWS Cloud services across multiple regions, as well as various SAAS and non-SAAS products. (Experience with K8S - a must)
Hands-on experience with SQL and noSQL databases, SQL, Postgres and others.
Strong understanding of, SDLC, and bug lifecycle.
Strong understanding of automation and QA best practices.
Comfortable working independently and across teams
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Detail-oriented mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skills
Autodidactic capabilities - a must
