Entry Mechanical Engineer

As an Entry Mechanical Engineer within Research & Development (R&D), you will participate in developing and enhancing mechanical aspects of building systems and solutions at Veev. You will coordinate, model and draw manufacturable, scalable, and Veev-compliant mechanical solutions, incorporating Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) and cost-effectiveness while adhering to highest modeling and technical drawing standards. You will contribute to innovative projects such as developing modular building components and creating solutions to optimize off-site manufacturing. This role provides the opportunity to collaborate closely with multidisciplinary design teams and cross-functionally with partners in manufacturing and assembly teams in order to contribute to Veev's continued growth.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for establishing and maintaining detailed building panels models, which reflects the Veev technology development.
Responsible for the modeling and drawing production of mechanical, structural, and architectural building solutions, parts and assemblies .
Model prototypes and write test protocols.
Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members.
Maintain quality control of designs, ensuring adherence to mechanical standards and industry best practices.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements, Knowledge, and Experience:

Bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable institution.
2+ years of hands-on mechanical engineering experience with a proven A-to-Z track record.
Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks and PDM required), including technical drawing and GD&T tolerancing.
Organized and structured working skills, with a keen eye for details and graphical clarity.
Familiar with product life cycle development processes.

Nice-to-Have:

Experience with building, off-site construction or structural framing systems.
Experience with sheet metal parts and assemblies.
Familiarity with Revit, BIM360, Navisworks, and other BIM tools.
