A fast-growing AI Robotics startup is seeking a Head of Computer Vision AI to lead and scale its core R D function and drive cutting-edge, production-grade vision solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, build, and scale the Computer Vision AI R D organization
Own and define the technical vision, architecture, and long-term roadmap
Stay deeply hands-on in algorithm development, coding, and complex problem-solving
Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing R D team
Partner closely with the CEO and product leadership on strategy, priorities, and execution
Drive delivery of robust, scalable Computer Vision solutions for real-world industrial environments

Proven experience building and scaling small, elite R D teams
Deep expertise in Computer Vision, AI, algorithms, and system architecture
Strong hands-on technical leadership with a passion for coding and innovation
Experience developing software for industrial or regulated domains (medical, defense, automotive, electronics, or similar)
Startup mindset: ownership-driven, adaptable, and execution-focused
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering
7+ years of progressive experience in R D and technical leadership roles
Proven experience building and scaling small, elite R D teams
Deep expertise in Computer Vision, AI, algorithms, and system architecture
Strong hands-on technical leadership with a passion for coding and innovation
Experience developing software for industrial or regulated domains (medical, defense, automotive, electronics, or similar)
Startup mindset: ownership-driven, adaptable, and execution-focused
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering
7+ years of progressive experience in R D and technical leadership roles
