Location: Ramat Hagolan (onsite, with occasional international travel) We are seeking an experienced and motivated Head of Engineering to lead a team of ~5 engineers within our military aviation division.
This senior role is part of the companys leadership team and reports directly to the division manager. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of mechanical and R&D engineers.
- Oversee design, development, and testing of advanced aerospace systems.
- Provide engineering support for production and assembly lines.
- Drive process improvements and technological innovation to enhance product quality.
- Manage engineering budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
- Support marketing and sales teams with technical expertise.
- Interface with civil aviation authorities (CAA, FAA) for product certification and compliance.
- Plan and participate in system testing in Israel and abroad. Requirements:
- Israeli citizenship.
- B.Sc. in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
- 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical design.
- High-level English (spoken and written). Advantages:
- M.Sc. in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
- Knowledge in static/dynamic structural analysis.
- Experience with environmental and dynamic testing.
- Familiarity with HYPERMESH, RADIOSS, PATRAN/NASTRAN.
