Early-stage startup developing AI-based computer vision solutions for automation and robotics is seeking a hands-on VP R D / Head of Computer Vision.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will build and lead the R D function, manage a small elite team (5? 10 engineers), stay close to the code, and own architecture and key technical decisions. The company works with global leaders in medical devices, defense, automotive, and electronics.

Responsibilities

Stay hands-on with development and code reviews

Drive CV AI solutions to production

Strong expertise in computer vision, AI, and software architecture

Industrial software background

B.Sc./M.Sc. in CS, Engineering, or Mathematics

7+ years of R D and leadership experience
