We're looking for a Director of IT to lead our global IT operations and be a key partner in building Port OS - Port's Operating System. This role owns IT operations across all Port offices (Tel Aviv, US, and remote) while driving IT strategy and standards company-wide.
As Port scales rapidly, we need a leader who can deliver exceptional IT support, seamless onboarding experiences, and reliable technology infrastructure across our global team. You'll lead the IT organization, manage a distributed team, and partner with the CIO to build scalable IT systems that ensure every Port employee-regardless of location-has the technology foundation they need to succeed.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can balance operational excellence with strategic thinking. You'll manage immediate IT needs while building the processes, policies, and tooling that let us scale smoothly. Based in our Tel Aviv headquarters, you'll work closely with engineering, product, and business teams while leading IT operations globally.

Requirements:
7-10 years of IT operations experience, with 3-4 years in leadership role managing distributed teams
Hands-on expertise with Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, Notion, macOS, Linux
Experience managing IT for high-growth startups (100-400 employees) with multiple offices or remote teams
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience with endpoint management tools (Jamf, JumpCloud, etc.)
Understanding of IT security and compliance (SOC2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP)
Service mindset: empathy, responsiveness, collaboration over control
Excellent Hebrew and English communication skills
Based in Tel Aviv, Israel (headquarters-based role)
Comfortable balancing hands-on work with strategic thinking
Experience managing remote/distributed teams across timezones
