We are expanding our microbiology team and seeking a Research Assistant to join our team as a junior microbiologist.
Responsibilities:
Support R&D trials- planning, executing, documenting and analyzing results, in lab and field.
Lab operation: equipment, preparation of growth media and solutions, bacterial isolation, identification and count.
Develop and perform various biochemical tests.
Read and review scientific literature.
Support all tasks required.

Requirements:
Masters degree in Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
OR bachelors degree with at least one year of relevant industry experience.
1-2 years of experience in a microbiology lab an advantage.
Willingness to work both in the laboratory and in the field.
Experience operating lab equipment and lab work and Strong technical skills.
Experience working in sterile conditions
Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and general tech aptitude.
Professionalism, accuracy, high organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Ability and desire to learn quickly.
High level of English.
Ability to work under pressure.
Willingness to work overtime.
Ability to commute independently to Mazor.
