We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering student to join our FDM Engineering Department in Kiryat Gat. This role provides hands-on experience in supporting production processes, driving engineering projects, and contributing to quality and reliability improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with engineers and product leaders to support daily operations and ongoing projects.
Develop and update work instructions, test procedures, and test plans.
Assist in optimizing production processes and parameters for new technologies and materials.
Support failure investigations and implement solutions to improve product reliability.
Lead and participate in engineering projects, including cost reduction initiatives and production floor changes.
Create detailed engineering drawings and 3D models for parts and assemblies.
Contribute to new technology implementation and collaborate with sub-contractors on production line enhancements.
Maintain adherence to safety policies and contribute to a culture of innovation and teamwork.

Requirements:

2nd or 3rd-year Mechanical Engineering student.
Availability to work at least three full working days a week in Kiryat Gat.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SolidWorks experience is highly advantageous.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using engineering principles.
Very good command of English and Hebrew.
Creative, hands-on, and team-oriented mindset with a proactive, "can-do" attitude.
Interest in manufacturing technologies and willingness to learn about plastics processes (e.g., extrusion, compounding, or injection molding).
