Transshipment Coordinator- Temp

The transshipment Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the process of transshipment containers in the Israeli ports is carried out smoothly and impeccably while implementing the company & Cargo Flow guidelines in the most efficient way.

Major areas of responsibility

Check and approve Invoices

Operational inspection of invoices, related to transshipment activities, from different vendors and approval of service receipt

Loading Report

Verifying that all containers were loaded according to the original planning, handling all exceptions, and updating agencies abord with the final loading report.

Monitoring and controlling ongoing work

Ensure that all Transshipment containers discharged in IL are properly transmitted to the authorities and are booked and confirm for the connecting vessel.
Ensure that there is coordination between the transmission of imports and exports
Correspondence with the agents on various inquiries, delay, or prioritization requests and other exceptional requests
Obtaining instructions and execution in accordance with the guidance / guidelines from Cargo Flow Dept
Following all local and international rules for t/s of dry & Reefer cargo, DG, OOG & special cargo

ITT – Inter Terminal Transfer

Planning and monitoring the Inter Terminal Transfer of t/s units between vessels in different terminals in cooperation with the Logistics Division, the Import Department and customs brokers
Execution of the process according to the schedules established

Hazardous cargo

Working with the Hazardous Division: Full recognition of the preliminary information required for the transportation and operation of hazardous cargoes, understanding the various restrictions and laws in the face of passage and activity in various ports and trade areas, issuing an MDGF hazardous cargo report and transferring it to the approval of local authorities

Requirements:

• Academic Degree – must

• 2 years of work experience in agency’s work.

• Good knowledge of the shipping industry-an advantage

• Complete mastery of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• High level of English in speaking and writing- a must
