Define system requirements for new optical TEST products through collaboration with customers and product teams.
Develop TEST methods for laboratory validation and production verification.
Design and build experimental setups with advanced optical instrumentation (lasers, sensors, cameras, motion systems, etc.).
Lead optical TEST instrumentation architecture for emerging semiconductor/photonics markets.
Work closely with internal R D and applications teams and support customer site deployments to ensure on-time delivery.
Develop TEST methods for laboratory validation and production verification.

Requirements:
B.Sc. in Optical Engineering, Physics, or related field (M.Sc. preferred).
10+ years of experience in optical engineering with proven record of developing and commercializing innovative solutions.
Hands-on experience with tunable lasers, optical spectrum analyzers, switches/splitters, PM SM fiber systems, polarization synthesizers, optical attenuators, photodiodes.
Familiarity with photonics devices (Silicon Photonics and commercial off-the-shelf components).
Broad knowledge in one or more related fields: mechanical engineering, motion systems, materials science, electronics, software, semiconductors.
Strong problem-solving skills, technical curiosity, and the ability to tackle complex system -level challenges.
