Vice President of Business Development

#We_Are_Hiring_VP_business_Development A cutting-edge Israeli biotechnology company, with a strong foundation in agricultural innovation, is expanding into the pharmaceutical domain.We are seeking a #VP_bd to join the leadership team, drive the establishment of this new pharma-focused business, and leverage the companys proven technological and agricultural expertise into global partnerships in the pharma industry.#Responsibilities: Build and expand the companys new pharma business domain, leveraging its strong agricultural and life science foundation. Identify and lead strategic partnerships with global players in the pharma, biotech, and academia, including joint ventures, and collaborative R&D agreements. Develop business models and value propositions for AI-based discovery platforms and science-driven technologies. Manage commercial negotiations, contracts, and complex deal structures for technology transactions. Collaborate closely with R&D, regulatory, marketing, and executive teams to translate scientific innovations into marketable solutions.Requirements Proven track record in Business Development within pharma, biotech, academia, or AI-driven life science technology companies, with direct experience in leading and closing complex international deals (licensing, partnerships, joint ventures). Strong scientific and technological understanding of small-molecule drug discovery, AI-based discovery platforms, or computational chemistry tools, with the ability to translate innovation into clear business value. Established network of industry contacts across pharma, biotech and AI-biotech, with demonstrated ability to initiate and grow strategic collaborations) including academia, private companies, and instrumentation/technology firms) Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (native or near-native level), including the ability to represent the company globally in negotiations and at conferences.
