A leading medical company in Haifa is seeking a Safety and Regulatory Engineer to ensure compliance of our products and systems with international safety standards and regulations. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of safety and regulatory processes while working closely with cross-functional teams across the full product lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Interpret and apply international and industry safety standards (CE, UL, ISO, IEC, RoHS, REACH).
Prepare and maintain safety regulatory documentation (checklists, safety reports, certifications).
Support certification processes with testing agencies worldwide.
Monitor regulatory updates and communicate their impact to stakeholders.
Collaborate with R D, QA, and manufacturing to integrate compliance requirements into product design.
Conduct internal audits and support external inspections.

B.Sc./M.Sc. in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in safety/regulatory engineering in regulated industries (medical devices, aerospace, automotive, industrial equipment).
Strong knowledge of international safety and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Team player with ability to work independently.
Advantages:
Regulatory/safety certifications (e.g., T?V, ASQ, RAC).
Experience with certification processes in EU/US/Asia.
Familiarity with environmental standards (RoHS, WEEE).
Knowledge of functional safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508).
