Dynamic Yield by seeking a Tech Lead Backend (Node.js) to join our team. This role is ideal for a hands-on backend expert who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about building scalable systems, mentoring engineers, and driving technical excellence.
As a Tech Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the architecture and direction of our backend services. Youll lead by example - designing, coding, and guiding the team through complex technical challenges - while working closely with product managers, developers, DevOps, and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of scalable backend services using Node.js, ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers.
Collaborate with product, design, and engineering peers to define technical requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
Drive architectural decisions and contribute to long-term technical strategy.
Ensure high code quality through code reviews, testing, and best practices.
Oversee containerized deployments using Kubernetes (K8s), and manage infrastructure components like Redis, OpenSearch, and AWS services (S3, CDN).
Champion observability and performance monitoring using tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
Contribute to documentation, incident response, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Big advantage: Experience implementing JavaScript-based scripts in browsers, with a strong focus on performance, maintainability, and impact on client-side behavior.
