Procurement Admin- Maternity Leave Replacement

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Operations Specialist with 1-2 years of experience to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will support procurement processes, manage supplier relationships, and ensure efficient purchasing practices. You will play a key role in optimizing procurement operations, collaborating with internal teams, and contributing to the continuous improvement of sourcing and supplier management.

Our Procurement team is aiming to implement a full purchase-to-pay process while bringing the best market practice for Similarweb requirements.
The team holds strong relationships with our stakeholders, source, negotiate, and monitor the company spend along with building an agile workflow
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Procurement Process:
Manage and process procurement requests from initiation to purchase order generation within Zip.
Ensure all procurement activities align with company policies and approval workflows.
Coordinate cross-functionally with Finance,AP, Legal, IT, and other departments to validate procurement needs and approvals.
Track and manage procurement timelines, ensuring timely processing of vendor agreements, POs, and deliveries
Procurement System Support:
Act as the primary administrator and user support for the Zip procurement system.
Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues, ensuring timely assistance for procurement system users.
Maintain data accuracy in Zip (vendor records, approvals, purchase orders, etc.).
Provide training and guidance to employees on using Zip effectively.
Vendor Management:
Facilitate vendor onboarding in Zip and maintain up-to-date vendor records.
Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution.
Support contract management by tracking renewals, expirations, and ensuring all documents are accurately captured in the system.
Process Improvement & Compliance:
Continuously identify opportunities to optimize procurement workflows and increase system adoption.
Monitor procurement activities for policy adherence and escalate compliance issues as necessary.
Develop and maintain procurement process documentation, guides, and SOPs related to Zip and procurement best practices.
