We're seeking an innovative R&D Manager to lead our team in pushing the boundaries of AI technology. You'll play a pivotal role in translating Apollo's cutting-edge capabilities into revolutionary products and features.

**What You'll Do:**
- Spearhead our R&D team, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with product, data, and infrastructure teams to align R&D efforts with strategic goals.
- Develop and execute research plans that leverage Apollo's neuro-symbolic architecture.
- Guide the team in implementing best practices and state-of-the-art research methodologies.
- Manage resources effectively, ensuring optimal allocation for maximum innovation.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks to maintain project timelines and product quality.
- Recruit top talent and mentor team members to drive continuous growth and development.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to accelerate product development.
- Stay at the forefront of AI advancements, particularly in conversational agents and fine-tuning techniques.

Requirements:

- An experienced manager skilled at guiding diverse technical teams.

**Requirements:**
- Strong engineering background with expertise in R&D, backend, frontend, QA, and DevOps technologies.
- Proven track record of leading successful R&D teams in AI or related fields.
- Extensive experience with data, AI, and machine learning platforms.
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and their application in R&D environments.
- Broad knowledge spanning backend and frontend development, QA, DevOps, prompt engineering, and current AI architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Familiarity with startup environments, emphasizing rapid innovation and scalability.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
