we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Mechanical Design team based in Tel Aviv, IL. About The Role This position is made for a highly-motivated engineer who enjoys working in a highly dynamic team environment. The ideal candidate is able to demonstrate a broad skill set based on experience with driving innovative products from concept, through prototyping and design, all the way to manufacturing. Were looking for people who are driven to solve complex problems with simple and elegant solutions, work hard and are highly adaptive. What youll do:
* Brainstorm creative solutions to mechanical, manufacturing, and mechatronic problems.
* Design elements of the aircraft, mechanical mechanism and/or the ground support infrastructure in CAD (Solidworks).
* Design and build prototypes, testing jigs and setups.
* Conduct thorough field testing and proof of concepts.
* Collaborate with external vendors.
* Collaborate with electronics engineers to design PCBs.
* Generate production level drawings, BOMs and assembly manuals.

Requirements:
* BSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering & design.
* At least 3 years of experience designing innovative and robust mechanical/mechatronic systems and moving part mechanisms.
* Proficiency in Solidworks - Must!
* Experience with CNC, Injection molding, and rapid prototyping fabrication.
* Practical knowledge of how to quickly prototype and TEST designs as well as experience with high-volume production manufacturing methods like injection molding or die casting.
* Experience in driving fast development cycles with vendors locally and abroad.
* Ability to work independently and initiate solutions with minimal supervision and a can-do attitude.
* Strives in fast paced environments, adapts quickly to new requirements.
* Fluent English - Must! It would be great if you have:
* A portfolio including challenging projects, describing the process by which they were solved.
* Experience with weight optimized structure design, finite element analysis, CFD and knowledge of aerodynamics.
* Strong GD&T drawing expertise.
* Passion for aviation, specifically drones.
