Experienced Payroll Accountant

The Global Payroll Accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing the payroll processes for a companys global operations. This role involves ensuring compliance with local and international payroll regulations, accuracy in payroll processing, and providing strategic support to improve payroll systems and processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in managing payroll across multiple countries.

Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end Israeli payroll process. Ensure timely and accurate payroll delivery, including salary payments, taxes, and other deductions. Coordinate with local payroll providers to ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
Collect and deliver all necessary global payroll data to local teams, ensuring accurate preparation, then review the final payroll results for compliance and correctness.
Ensure compliance with all local, and international payroll regulations. Prepare and submit required payroll tax filings and reports. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global payroll laws and regulations, implementing changes as necessary.
Work with payroll software and systems to ensure data accuracy and process efficiency. Assist in the implementation and optimization of payroll systems and tools. Collaborate with IT and HR teams to troubleshoot and improve payroll system functionality.
Address payroll-related inquiries from employees in a timely and professional manner, guide employees on payroll policies and procedures, and Support HR and finance teams with payroll-related matters.
Work closely with HR, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure payroll alignment with company policies and financial objectives. Support audits and ensure readiness for any external or internal payroll reviews.
