MSc/PHD Student Algorithm Developer for Road Semantics

You will be part of our company's REM (Road Experience Management) department, which is responsible for the automatic High-Definition map-making process, a key technology in our company's autonomous driving and advanced Driving Assistance systems. This process involves running advanced algorithmic code in a massively parallel manner, utilizing Big Data technologies. As such, it is a complex system that requires a deep understanding of our map creation process, along with strong technical abilities. Our team is responsible for developing and delivering algorithmic features end-to-end, from the requirement stage to production, as well as building deployment and delivery systems in the autonomous vehicle field.
What will your job look like:
Design, develop, and implement complex algorithms Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop solutions.
Optimize existing algorithms to improve performance and scalability Research and evaluate new algorithmic approaches and techniques.
Working with large-scale data and distributed processing.
Combination of classical programming and algorithm development.
