The DevOps Group Manager will be responsible for leading and managing a few DevOps teams, developing and maintaining the software infrastructure and tools needed for continuous integration and deployment, with a strong emphasis on cloud technologies. he will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software development, testing, and operations.
Responsibilities
Define and implement the DevOps strategy and roadmap for the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Identify and implement improvements to the software development lifecycle, including automation of testing, deployment, and release processes (strong focus on cloud-based solutions).
Stay up to date with emerging trends and best practices in DevOps and cloud-related fields and apply these to the organization as appropriate.
Manage the infrastructure and tools required for continuous integration and deployment in the cloud, including monitoring and alerting systems (focus on cloud-based abilities and expertise such as AWS).
Provide technical guidance and leadership to the DevOps engineers.
Mentor and develop team members to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
Collaborate with other stakeholders, including QA, security, and operations teams, to ensure that the software is delivered on time and meets the expected quality standards.
Develop and maintain relationships with cloud vendors and service providers to ensure that the organization has access to the latest cloud tools and technologies.

45 years of proven DevOps experience and 23 years of leadership, with strong business acumen and a strong emphasis on cloud-native architecture and technologies, especially AWS.
Deep understanding of DevOps methodologies, software development lifecycles, and familiarity with a wide range of cloud-native and AI-driven DevOps tools (e.g., AIOps platforms, automated runbooks, ML-based monitoring).
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and manage a team with strong cloud and AI expertise.
