Storage Pre-Sales Engineer (5760) Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Pre-Sales Engineer specializing in Storage technologies to join our solutions team. You will work closely with sales and technical teams to design, present, and validate Storage solutions that meet our clients business and technical needs. Responsibilities: Partner with sales teams to engage with customers, gather requirements, and understand business objectives.
Design and present tailored Storage solutions (On-Prem, Hybrid, Cloud).
Conduct technical workshops, demonstrations, and Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements.
Prepare technical proposals, solution designs, and architecture documentation.
Collaborate with vendors and technology partners to deliver optimal solutions.
Stay current with market trends and emerging Storage technologies. Requirements: Proven experience in a Pre-Sales, Solutions Architect, or Systems Engineer role within the Storage domain.
Strong knowledge of leading Storage vendors (Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, IBM, Pure Storage, etc.).
In-depth understanding of SAN/NAS/Object Storage, Storage protocols (iSCSI, FC, NFS, SMB), and backup/DR solutions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with both technical and business audiences.
Strong teamwork and customer-facing skills.
Proficiency in technical English (written and spoken). Nice to Have: Experience with cloud Storage (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Relevant vendor certifications.
Knowledge in virtualization ( VMware, Hyper-V) and container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
