The Position

This role leads the technical ,applications and IT squad (Molecular Solutions) of
Roche Diagnostics Israel Post-Sales Support and Service.

This includes training, provision of instrument troubleshooting, instrument installation, instrument preventative maintenance procedures and hardware modifications and other issues of instrument after sales services to the satisfaction of the RDI customer base.

In addition, the Team Lead plays a crucial role in pioneering life-changing healthcare.
Building up-to-date knowledge and surveys future trends related to Service. They co-create strategies across RDI, contributing their knowledge and subject-matter
expertise.

This role is responsible for delivering better outcomes for more patients faster by development of team members- the Team Lead would maintain a ready pool of talent to be drawn upon to ensure delivery on RDI short and long-term priorities.

Other responsibilities include;

Support team in day to day prioritization to ensure efficient use of resources.
Create and nurture a culture in which experimentation and learning are embraced.
Ensure customers are supported with a quality service & perform modifications as per agreed contract schedule with customers and in line with global timelines for completion.
Ensure relevant service related initiatives are discussed, investigated and improved to keep the business up-to-date and relevant in the current market. Eg: Remote service solutions.
Participate in the overall RDI Post-Sales Support strategic planning.
Spare parts stock are organized, maintained and counted via a regular stock take process as per company policy is completed across for the region technical team.
Ensure existing and new customer base are supported with quality after sales
service.
Be responsible either directly or indirectly for the timely installation and
commissioning of Roche Diagnostics Israel analytical systems.
Ensure team training is completed to ensure a level of expert competence within the team is maintained with backup support across the portfolio of hardware to be serviced.
Enforces standards and promotes care for the safety and health of self and team members/colleagues.

You hold tertiary qualifications in Science, engineering or related degree with a
minimum of 3 years applications/service experience in a technical role with IVD.
equipment with a preference for line management experience.
You have a thorough understanding of diagnostic laboratories. Your excellent
relationship building and outstanding communication & networking skills will be a key to excelling in this role.
A valid driver’s license is essential.
