What Youll Be Doing:
Lead and mentor a team of 10 mechanical engineers, driving excellence in design and innovation.
Oversee the development of mechanical solutions for products in R D, with a focus on electronic and microelectronic packaging.
Independently manage small-scale mechanical design projects, from concept to implementation.
Ensure compliance with environmental and functional requirements, including thermal management, structural integrity, and durability under harsh conditions.
Supervise and validate engineering analyses (thermal, structural, dynamic), including subcontracte
simulation work using SolidWorks Simulation.
Support the transition of products from development to production, including full documentation and process alignment.

Job location- Jerusalem district

Requirements:
B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized academic institution.
At least 10 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design of electronic enclosures, preferably in a high-tech or defense-related manufacturing environment.
Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
Deep technical knowledge in machining, and ideally in coating and sealing technologies.
Strong understanding of heat transfer, statics, and dynamics.
Experience in product lifecycle management, including DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and transitioning to production.
Fluent Hebrew (native level), strong English both spoken and written
