Quality Engineer for a Mega Project
Division: Missile and Space Systems, MLM (a division of Israel Aerospace Industries) We're looking for a Quality Engineer to join a mega project at MLM in the Missile and Space Systems Division. Responsibilities include: Leading quality aspects in the project and production line. Quality engineering in mechanical production lines, working with engineering, manufacturing engineering, and subcontractors. Coordinating all multidisciplinary quality matters with program management, engineering, and the client. Writing quality plans and improving processes, focusing on mechanical production lines. Managing review boards and deviations, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive actions. Approving method cards. Managing quality engineering topics: reliability, safety, and environmental stress screening (ESS). Coordinating capability proof and environmental condition compliance. What Were Looking For
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering required. Minimum of 3 years experience in quality engineering required. Familiarity with machining tools (milling/turning) required. Ability to read drawings and 3D models required. Knowledge of special processes like coating/painting/autoclave an advantage. Familiarity with NDT processes and CMM machines an advantage. Experience in the defense/aerospace sector strong advantage. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) advantage. High-level English proficiency. Excellent interpersonal skills as part of matrix management.
