Alomone Labs is seeking a talented and motivated Scientist or Senior Scientist with proven expertise in neurobiology to join our expanding in-house research team. This is a hands-on position focused on the execution and development of innovative microscopy-based applications using our extensive portfolio of antibodies and bio-detectors.

Key Responsibilities
Preparation of tissue samples for microscopy perfusion, organ harvesting, and tissue sectioning (frozen and FFPE).
Tissue staining immunohistochemistry (IHC) and/or immunofluorescence (IF).
Imaging confocal and/or super-resolution microscopy.
Interpretation of results and generation of comprehensive experimental reports.
Execution, optimization, and development of microscopy-based protocols and techniques.
Drafting and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Collaboration with R&D teams on experimental planning and execution.

Advanced academic degree in Neurobiology essential.
Deep and demonstrable understanding of the nervous systems anatomy, structure, and function must.
o Priority will be given to candidates with experience in the neuroanatomy of rats and mice.
Extensive experience in the execution, optimization, and development of IHC/IF protocols.
Proven ability to independently plan, execute, and document scientific experiments.
Fluent reading and writing in English.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in harvesting and preparation of rodent (mouse and rat) tissues.
Hands-on work with confocal and/or super-resolution microscopy.
Experience in the harvesting and isolation of different nervous system cell types and the establishment of primary cell cultures.
