As a Senior Algorithm Scientist team lead, you will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of advanced image processing and deep learning algorithms for ophthalmic diagnostic devices. You will lead the development of innovative algorithms while simultaneously managing a team of engineers, ensuring the efficient execution of projects. This role requires you to balance hands-on algorithm development with leadership duties, such as providing guidance and mentorship to your team, setting priorities, and ensuring that key milestones are met on time. Your technical expertise combined with your leadership abilities will be crucial to driving the success of the team and advancing the development of cutting-edge ophthalmic imaging technologies

Requirements:
M.Sc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in industry or academia developing algorithms for image processing, analysis, deep learning, and related applications.
Expertise in C ++ programming and familiarity with IPP/OpenCV libraries.
Proficiency in developing multi-threaded applications.
Extensive experience with Machine Learning algorithms and techniques.
In-depth knowledge of medical image analysis, particularly in ophthalmology.
Strong knowledge of algorithm optimization, high-performance computing, and statistical analysis.
Familiarity with software development processes for medical devices.
Proven leadership experience, including managing and mentoring a team of engineers.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
