A NASDAQ-listed public investment firm specializing in defense-sector companies is seeking a Senior COO to lead internal operations, oversee finance, legal, and compliance functions, and manage strategic processes across the organization and its subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and improve internal operations: budgeting, controls, and key projects

Manage finance, legal, and regulatory reporting

Collaborate with portfolio companies leadership and support strategic decision-making

Maintain relationships with external advisors, partners, and suppliers

Take part in executive forums and corporate strategy

Requirements:
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in senior operational management roles
Proven experience as a CFO in a U.S. public company (NASDAQ)
Extensive experience interacting with boards, regulators, investment banks, and public service providers
Ability to lead cross-organizational processes, strong strategic thinking, and business initiative
Relevant academic degree required (Accounting, Law, Business Administration); Masters degree an advantage
Practical knowledge in contracts, financial reporting, and financial regulation
Previous experience as a Corporate Secretary or Legal Counsel a significant advantage
