We are seeking an experienced VMware Storage /Backup Engineer to join our server team, responsible for managing and maintaining key production systems. This role combines expertise in VMware and Storage /backup technologies, ensuring the health and performance of our infrastructure.

**Key Responsibilities: **- performance of existing systems
- Build performance and capacity reports and set up monitoring alerts
- Conduct resource capacity planning
- Build and maintain disaster recovery (DR) systems and procedures
- Oversee Storage and backup operations, ensuring efficient backups and restorations

Requirements:
Manage Dell Storage, data Domain Storage and Networker backup system.
Perform daily monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of backup jobs on platforms ( Oracle, SQL server, Windows, VMware, and Linux servers).
Analyze backup software performance and monitoring of scheduled backups, to ensure success or take remedial action for failures.
Manage and support Storage systems, including vulnerability remediation, capacity management, configuration management, provisioning and zoning of new servers using SAN switches.
Perform regular DR (Disaster Recovery) TEST plan of backup data restoration and Storage replication availability.
Monitor usage and performance of Storage and perform capacity planning for Storage growth to management.
Ensure service levels meet requirements.
Expected to work during off-peak hours on system activities (e.g. patching, upgrade)
