we're on a mission to revolutionize the creative industry by providing content creators worldwide with high-quality digital assets from music and sound effects to footage, templates, and beyond. As a fast-growing, product-led tech company, we are building powerful tools that empower millions of creators to tell their stories through video. We are now looking for a FinOps Engineer to join our cloud infrastructure team and lead efforts to make our cloud operations smarter, more efficient, and financially accountable. As a FinOps Engineer at, you'll bridge the gap between finance and engineering. You'll own strategies and tooling that drive cloud cost optimization, Kubernetes resource efficiency, and cross-team visibility. This role is ideal for someone with a strong DevOps background who has spent at least 12 years in a dedicated FinOps role, and thrives in a cloud-native, data -driven environment.
Requirements:
* 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability roles.
* 12 years of hands-on FinOps experience, including cost optimization and budget governance.
* Strong hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, including cost-efficient configuration and resource tuning.
* Solid understanding of cloud billing and pricing models (especially AWS and/or GCP).
* Experience implementing cost attribution strategies, tagging policies, and reporting frameworks.
* Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Helm).
* Skilled in scripting and data analysis ( Python, MySQL, SnowFlake, etc.).
* Excellent communicator who can present technical cost insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. Nice to Have
* Experience with cost monitoring tools (e.g., Kubecost CAST AI, XIV, Perfect Scale, Finout
* Familiarity with CI/CD and GitOps workflows.
* Background in SaaS or high-scale cloud-native environments.
