Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Biller / Payroll Bookkeeping Specialist to join our all-virtual mental health group practice. This role is critical to ensuring timely insurance reimbursement, clinician payroll processing, and financial oversight through spreadsheets and light bookkeeping. The ideal candidate has experience working in mental health billing, is organized, proactive, and communicates clearly with the rest of the administrative team.
8+ years of experience in medical billing (preferably mental health)
Familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., TherapyNotes, SimplePractice, or equivalent)
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
Experience processing payroll and/or using payroll platforms like Paychex
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail, self-driven, and deadline-oriented
HIPAA compliant and understands client confidentiality
